graffiti pier.
"Graffiti Pier" was a designated "park" for Philadelphia's graffiti artists. But it didn't always look like this. In its heyday, Pier 18 was owned by Conrail, and was part of the Reading Railroad line. The pier used a cart and rail system to unload anthracite coal from ships. In July 2019, the Philadelphia Police Department began enforcing a no-trespassing rule. The city currently has plans for the property to become an actual park in the near future.
