Last updated: October 18, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") explain the rules for using pattonwebdesigns.com (the "Site"). The Site is owned by Patton Web Designs LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). Please read these Terms before using the Site.

01Accepting These Terms

By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site. You must follow all laws that apply to your use of the Site.

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the date shown above. New terms apply to your use of the Site after they are posted. Changes will not replace any separate contract you have signed with us.

02Our Website and Our Services

The Site shares information about our web design, development, and related services. Site content, examples, and general price information are not a binding offer or promise.

Paid work is covered by a separate written agreement, such as a proposal, service contract, or statement of work. That agreement controls project scope, fees, payments, deadlines, deliverables, ownership, warranties, and service-related disputes. If these Terms conflict with a signed client agreement about paid work, the signed agreement controls.

03Content and Intellectual Property

Unless we say otherwise, we own or have permission to use the text, layout, graphics, code, and other content on this Site. You may view the Site and print or save reasonable parts for your own personal or internal business reference. You may not copy, republish, sell, or reuse Site content for another purpose without our written permission, except where the law allows it.

Patton Web Designs® is a trademark of Patton Web Designs LLC. You may not use our name, trademark, logos, or branding in a way that suggests we approve, sponsor, or are connected to you without our written permission. You may refer to our business truthfully when the law allows it. Do not use our branding to impersonate us.

Client logos, project images, and other third-party content shown in our portfolio belong to their owners or are used with permission. These Terms do not transfer ownership of any client website, client content, or paid project deliverable. Those rights are covered by the relevant client agreement.

04Acceptable Use

You may not use the Site to break the law, harm others, or disrupt the Site. This includes trying to gain access without permission; sending malware or spam; impersonating our business or another person; collecting private information without permission; or using automated tools in ways that damage or overload the Site.

Normal use of search engines, web browsers, and accessibility tools is allowed. You may link to the Site as long as the link does not mislead people about our relationship. Nothing here limits lawful reviews, fair use, or other rights protected by law.

05Forms, Messages, and Feedback

You may contact us through Site forms or email. Please provide accurate information. Do not send passwords, payment card details, medical records, or other highly sensitive information through a general contact form.

You keep ownership of materials you send us. You give us permission to read, store, and use those materials as needed to reply, review a possible project, provide a requested service, or run the Site, subject to our Privacy Policy and any separate agreement.

Sending an inquiry does not create a client relationship. We will not publish your private project details or use your work in marketing without an appropriate basis or permission. General ideas or feedback you send about the Site may be used to improve it, but this does not transfer ownership of your original work.

06Outside Links and Services

The Site may link to other websites or use third-party tools. We do not control those websites or their rules. A link does not always mean we endorse the site or its services. Review the third party's terms and privacy information before using it.

07Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information and describes any rights you may have. You can read it at pattonwebdesigns.com/privacy. The Privacy Policy is a separate notice, not a replacement for these Terms.

08Site Changes and Availability

We may change, update, or remove Site content and features. We may also pause or close parts of the Site for maintenance or other reasons. We work to keep the Site available, but we cannot promise it will always work without errors or interruptions.

09Information and Disclaimers

We try to keep Site information clear and current. Still, Site content may have mistakes or become out of date. The Site and its general information are provided "as is" and "as available," to the extent allowed by law. We do not promise that the Site will always be accurate, secure, or available.

This section applies only to the public Site. It does not change any promise, warranty, or duty in a separate client agreement. Nothing in these Terms takes away rights that the law does not allow us to exclude.

10Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Patton Web Designs LLC is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website. This includes lost profits, lost data, business interruptions, or other financial losses.

We make reasonable efforts to keep our website accurate, secure, and available. However, we cannot guarantee that it will always be free from errors, interruptions, or security risks.

This limitation applies only to the use of this website. It does not apply to website design, development, maintenance, consulting, or other professional services provided under a separate client agreement.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.

11Misuse and Access

If you misuse the Site or break these Terms, we may block or limit your access when reasonable. We may also take lawful steps to protect the Site, our visitors, and our business. This does not affect rights or duties under a separate client agreement.

12Governing Law and Disputes

Oregon law governs these Terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where another law must apply. If a concern comes up about the public Site, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it.

If a dispute must go to court, it may be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction under applicable law. These Terms do not require arbitration, waive a jury trial, or shorten any legal filing deadline. Disputes about paid services are governed by the relevant client agreement.

13Other Terms

If part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest will still apply. If we do not enforce a rule right away, we may still enforce it later. These Terms cover only use of the public Site. They do not replace any signed client agreement.

We may update our contact details and Site information. Any waiver or change to a separate client contract must follow that contract's rules.
